Another Man's Blues - Dedicated to all the homeless who live in our streets, under the bridges, sleeping on steam grates, ignored or disdained by our society.

Apology to Dominique - A free verse written for my daughter. There was a time in my life that I was very lost, struggling to find myself again. As much as I suffered, my daughter suffered more. We're still dealing with the loss.

The Brass Ring - My mother always supported my endeavors, even when she didn't fully understand them.

Connected - When there is true love between two people, they will forever be connected.

Daddy's Pier - Written for anyone who has ever lost someone close to them, especially without warning.

Life Is Like That - No matter what life threw at him, my father always kept going, always stayed positive. Here's why.

The Lighthouse - Written to commemorate my father's Birthday, and to thank him for his guidance.

Pain Sells - Our media plays to the Lowest Common Denominator, and often that means putting someone's pain on display. Why not just start up the Games again? <sigh...>

Peace In The Real World - Talk is cheap, especially when it's a lie. But it will come back around.

Sacred Children - Not all creatures are the same, but they are all sacred. We seem to have forgotten that.

Sacred Ground - It's happened countless times, in countless countries: governments and the wealthy who own them make war on others purely for the sake of capturing more wealth.

So Many Questions - As a child to a parent, each of us calls on the Mystery to answer questions similar to these. Often, I have pondered these questions only to distrust the answers I heard in my heart. The Mystery responds to us whenever we call; it isup to us to hear the answers.

Spirit Mother - A "thank you" gift for an important spiritual mentor.

Take My Hand - A dear friend and spiritual mentor had asked for supportive, positive thoughts.

This Wall - I can't explain it, and won't try to, but this wall spoke to me.

The Tree House - A free verse, written for a very special friend, who asked, "If you started a tree house club and could only invite three members, who would you pick? What would the sign say on the door?" This is my answer.

Two Hearts - When two people live in true love, their hearts beat as one. And although they may be separated by hundreds, even thousands of miles, they are never really apart.
